Tested: YSL Vernis à Lèvres

Because I wondered, if there can really still be innovations in the lipgloss sector, I tested the new vernis à lèvres from YSL. It should give a nail-polish-effect and it should have the opacity of a lipstick as well as the shine of a lipgloss.
Honestly I have to say, that I'm a little disappointed. I didn't really like it. Yes, it is a little more intense in the colour than usual lip glosses but nothing extraordinary. And I found that the application wasn't really proper. If I want shiny and strong colored lips, I prefer to put on a little lipgloss after my lipstick...


Da es mich wunder nahm, ob man in dem Lipgloss-Sektor wirklich noch Innovationen machen kann, habe ich den neuen vernis à lèvres von YSL getestet. Er soll einen Nagellack-Effekt geben und die Funktion eines deckenden Lippenstifts sowie den Glanz eines Lipglosses.
Ganz ehrlich muss ich sagen, es hat mich nicht umgehauen. Er ist zwar etwas deckender als normale Lipglosses, aber nicht ausserordentlich. Zudem finde ich er verteilt sich nicht sehr schön ebenmässig auf den Lippen.  Da bevorzuge ich, wenn ich glänzende starke Lippen möchte, nach dem Lippenstift rasch noch etwas Gloss aufzutragen...


Par ce que ça m'intéressait si on peut toujours faire des innovations concernant les lipgloss, j'ai testé le nouveau vernis à lèvres de YSL. Il devrait donner un effet vernis avec une couvrence d'un rouge à lèvres et la brillance d'un gloss.
Honnêtement je suis un peu déçue. Il ne m'a pas vraiment plu. C'est vrai qu'il est un petit peu plus pigmenté qu'un gloss normal, mais pas beaucoup. En plus je trouve qu'il ne s'étale pas bien sur les lèvres. Si je veux avoir des lèvres fortes et brillantes, je préfère mettre un peu de gloss après le rouge à lèvres...

Autumn Make-up

For this beautiful autumn-look I've chosen a really popular colour for this fall. It's a deep red mixed with brown. I'm totally addicted to this color, I think it's very feminine and together with the brown smokey-eyes it gives a irresistible mysterious look. For the extra glamorous touch I added fake lashes. I hope you like the look as much as I do!

Für diesen herbstlichen Look habe ich eine Farbe genommen, welche in dieser Saison sehr angesagt ist. Ein sattes Dunkelrot gemischt mit Braun. Ich bin total verrückt nach dieser Farbe, sie ist wunderbar feminin und ich finde zusammen mit den braunen Smokey-Eyes gibt es einen unwiderstehlichen mysteriösen Look. Für den extra Touch Glamour habe ich noch falsche Wimpern hinzugefügt. Ich hoffe euch gefällt dieses Make-Up genauso gut wie mir!

Pour ce look magnifique d'automne j'ai choisi une couleur pour les lèvres qui est très en tendance cette saison. C'est un rouge fort et foncé, mélangé avec du brun. J'adore cette couleur, elle est très féminine et je trouve que avec les smokey-eyes en brun ça donne un look irrésistible et mystérieux. Pour le "touch-extra-glamour" j'ai rajouté des faux cils. J'espère que vous aimez le maquillage autant que moi!

How to fix lipstick errors

Just for a moment you don't pay enough attention or you get pushed and your lipstick slips out of control and ruins your pretty make-up. If you swipe it away with a cotton swab you smear it or you even take off your foundation and there will be spots.

When it happens to you next time, no panic, all you need is a foundation and a flat brush.

Man ist nur kurz unachtsam, oder wird geschupst und schon ist es passiert, der Lippenstift ist ausser Kontrolle geraten und unser schönes Make-Up ruiniert. Wenn wir ihn einfach mit einem Wattestäbchen wegwischen, wird er verschmiert oder das Make-Up wird gleich mit weggewischt und es entstehen Flecken.

Wenn euch dies das nächste Mal passiert, keine Panik, alles was ihr braucht sind Foundation und ein flacher Pinsel.

Take a bit of foundation on your brush, not too much.

Nehmt etwas Make-Up auf den Pinsel, nicht zu viel.

Then swipe with small and careful gestures the over boarded lipstick from the outside towards the inside. Do this until you have your perfect contours. Make sure that you clean the brush from time to time on the back of your hand and retake a bit of foundation if necessary.

Dann wischt ihr von aussen gegen innen den überflüssigen Lippenstift in kleinen Bewegungen weg, bis die Lippenkonturen erreicht sind. Zwischendurch den Pinsel immer wieder am Handrücken reinigen und wenn nötig etwas mehr Make-Up nehmen.

And your lips look stunning again 😃

Shooting in a ghost-village

This shooting was made in a ghost-village a bit outside from Paris. The backdrop was very interesting and the shoot was fun. The only problem was the freezing cold, because I did hair and make-up outside as well and the missing socket was a bit of a problem for the hairstyling. But anyhow you always find something to help yourself out 😊

Of course the battery of my phone died just a few minutes after the shooting started. That's why I could just take a few pictures. I hope you like them anyway ☺

The shooting was for a vernissage and I really liked the withe leather outfit which Mark Bobo created.

Dieses Shooting fand in einem Geisterdorf etwas ausserhalb von Paris statt. Die Kulisse war äusserst interessant und das Shooting hat sehr viel Spass gemacht. Das einzige Problem war die Kälte, da ich auch Haare und Make-Up draussen gemacht habe und natürlich die fehlende Steckdose um die Haare zu stylen. Aber irgendwie weiss man sich ja immer zu helfen 😊 

Natürlich hat mein Handy bereits nach wenigen Minuten, als das Shooting angefangen den Geist aufgegeben, deshalb konnte ich nur einige Bilder davon machen. Ich hoffe sie gefallen euch trotzdem ☺

Das Shooting war für eine Vernissage und das weisse Lederoutfit von Designer Mark Bobo hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Ce shooting à été fait dans un village abandonné  hors de Paris. J'ai bien aimé les environs et le shooting était très sympa. Le seul problème était le froid, par ce que j'ai fait le maquillage et les cheveux dehors et aussi la manque d'une prise pour coiffer les cheveux. Mais on doit toujours savoir s'aider 😊

Bien sûr mon téléphone à décidé de mourir quelques minutes après qu'on avait commencé le shoot, c'est pour ça que je n'ai pas beaucoup de photos. Mais j'espère qu'elles vous plaisent quand mêmes ☺

Le shooting a été fait pour un vernissage et j'ai beaucoup aimé l'habit en cuir blanc du créateur Mark Bobo.

For all Isabel Marant fans here a little reminder: her collection for H&M will be available on the 14. November 2013 in certain H&M stores. She designed clothes, shoes and accessories and there is even a mens collection. That is also a premiere for the designer.

Put on some warm clothes, I'm sure there's gonna be a big run on it. Good luck on snatching your favorite pieces!

Für alle Isabel Marant Fans hier noch eine kleine Erinnerung: die Kollektion der französischen Designerin welche sie für H&M kreiert hat, wird ab dem 14. November 2013 in ausgewählten H&M-Filialen zu finden sein. Die Kollektion besteht aus Kleidung, Schuhen und Accessoires und es gibt sogar eine Herrenkollektion. Dies ist auch für die Designerin eine Premiere.

 Zieht euch am besten warm an, ich bin mir sicher, der Ansturm wird gross sein. Viel Erfolg beim ergattern euer Lieblingsteile!

CHANEL-look

One of my favorite looks of this fall/winter season was the Chanel-make-up. They produced golden sequins just for the runway-shows and used them as eye-liner and it looked fantastic. Unfortunately they produced them just for the shows and don't sell them. Too bad, I'm sure it would have been a great success!

Anyway I wanted to do this look, so I started to look around for nice sequins in every make-up and stationary store. Finally I found some, not as pretty as in the shows, but nice as well.

For the look you need a fresh looking soft foundation. The cheeks have just a puff of a rosy blush as well as the lips. The eyebrows are well marked and under the eyes I draw a line with a dark brown to accent the eyes. For the eyeliner with the sequins I used a special face-glue. First I draw the line with the glue and then I added the sequins on it. Finished is the beautiful feminine Chanel-look.

For those who think the golden sequins are too outstanding, you can also use black ones, to make a little more simple but still glamorous look, like i did it on the pictures below. And for those who like it crazy you can use any other colours as well, or even mix some. Have fun with trying!

Einer meiner Lieblings-Looks in dieser Herbst/Winter Saison war der von Chanel. Es wurden extra für die Runway-Shows goldene Pailletten produziert, die als Eyeliner benutzt wurden. Es sah toll aus. Leider kann man die Pailletten nicht kaufen, da sie nur für die Shows entwickelt wurden. Zu schade, ich bin mir sicher, es wäre ein grosser Erfolg gewesen.

Trotz fehlenden Chanel-Pailletten wollte ich diesen Look umsetzen, also habe ich in allen Make-Up-Boutiquen und Bastelläden nach hübschen Pailletten Ausschau gehalten. Schlussendlich habe ich welche gefunden, zwar nicht ganz so bezaubernd wie die originalen, aber auch sehr schön.

Für den Look braucht man eine ebenmässige und frisch aussehende Grundierung. Die Wangen bekommen nur einen Hauch in Zartrosa, ebenso die Lippen. Die Augenbrauen sind ziemlich stark nachgezogen und um die Augen zu betonen, habe ich einen dunkelbraunen Liner unterhalb der Augen gezogen. Für den Pailletten-Lidstrich habe ich einen Spezial-Leim genommen, den man gut auf dem Gesicht auftragen kann. Mit dem Leim habe ich zuerst die Linie des Lidstriches gezeichnet und dann die Pailletten darauf geklebt. Fertig ist der wunderschön feminine Chanel-Look.

Wenn euch die goldenen Pailletten etwas zu auffällig sind, könnt ihr auch gut schwarze Pailletten nehmen, so wie ich es bei den nachfolgenden Fotos getan habe. Es macht den Look etwas zurückhaltender, aber immer noch schön glamourös. Und für die, die es gerne noch auffälliger haben, gibt es noch jede Menge anderer Pailletten-Farben zum ausprobieren, ihr könnt auch mehrere für einen Lidstrich nehmen. Viel Spass beim ausprobieren!

NARS - Guy Bourdin

Because the work of star-photographer Guy Bourdin inspired creative director François Nars to be a make-up artist, he dedicated him the new limited edition. This edition is full of expressional colours and a lots of beautiful palettes included small Guy-Bourdin-bags.

I'm on my way home from a great shooting! I love to create special things that not every body would wear!

The most difficult thing at this shooting was to make the hair stay in the models face for the first hair-look. I'm still wondering how I could fix them...

Anyway it was really fun, Pierre Tostain is really a great photographer, I'm sure you gonna hear from him 😀

Ich bin gerade auf dem Nachhauseweg von einem wirklich tollen Shooting! Ich liebe es, Dinge zu kreieren, die nicht alltagstauglich sind!

Das Schwierigste an diesem Shooting waren die feinen Haarsträhnen (für den ersten Haar-Look) im Gesicht des Models zu plazieren. Ich frage mich immer noch wie sie am besten halten könnten...

Auf jeden Fall hat es grossen Spass gemacht, Pierre Tostain ist wirklich ein super Fotograf, ich bin sicher von ihm wird man noch hören 😀

Je suis entrain de rentrer d'un shooting génial! J'adore créer des choses spéciales que pas tout le monde pourrait porter!

La difficulté de ce shooting était de faire tenir les cheveux sur le visage du modèle pour le premier look de coiffure. Je me demande toujours comment j'aurais pu les fixer...

Enfin bon, c'était très amusant, Pierre Tostain est un très bon photographe, je suis sûre que vous entendrez parler de lui :)

Tested: uniq one

Es hat 10 Wirkungen und schützt somit das Haar sowohl von dem kalten und stürmischen Wetter draussen, als auch vor der trockenen Heizungsluft drinnen.
Ich habe es getestet und war wirklich zufrieden. Mein Haar wirkt voll und kräftig und hat einen wunderbaren Glanz. Ich kann dieses Produkt wirklich empfehlen. Was meine Haare angeht, kann der Winter nun kommen.
