II. proposition for a New Year's Eve Make-up - DIY video

My second DIY video for the online magazine Miss Outlet is ready. It is an other proposition for a New Year's Eve make-up but you can also use it for a normal party-make-up if you want to try something else. My favorite in this make-up is: the ultra-violet lips! They look amazing! And they look astonishing good on  a lot of different types! So, just try it ☺

Es ist gleich noch mal eine Idee für ein Silvester-Make-up, aber es kann auch gut als normales Party-Make-up verwendet werden, für alle die mal etwas ausprobieren wollen. Was mir besonders gut gefällt: die violetten Lippen sehen toll aus! Und stehen erstaunlich vielen verschiedenen Typen! Also: einfach mal ausprobieren ☺

New Year's Eve Make-up - 20ies Style

Hello my dears
I hope you have spent some very nice Christmas-days! As soon as Christmas is over, preparation for New Year's eve gets in its final countdown: Which dress should I wear, what hairstyle and of course what kind of make-up? For the last one I created a suggestion for you. It's New Year's Eve why don't you try a more glamorous make-up for a change?!  My tip for this year: a modern 20ies-look.
For this make-up I painted the inner part of the eye until up to the eyebrow in black and softened it out to the outer corner with silver. For the lips I've chosen a color which was typical in the 20ies, called buffalo-blood-red. It's a dark red with a brownish touch. The cheeks are not in the center of attention so I kept them casual. Voilà, finished is your glamorous make-up for a spectacular New Year's Eve!

Ich hoffe ihr hattet ein paar wunderbare Weihnachtstage! Sobald Weihnachten vorbei ist, geht es in die letzte Runde mit den Silvester-Vorbereitungen: Was soll ich anziehen, welche Frisur soll ich machen und natürlich was für ein Make-up dazu? Für letztere Frage habe ich einen Vorschlag für euch kreiert. Es ist Neujahr, warum also nicht mal ein glamouröseres Make-up wählen und etwas wagen?! Mein Tip für dieses Jahr: ein moderner 20ies-Look
Für dieses Make-up habe ich die inneren Augenwinkel bis unter die Augenbrauen schwarz geschminkt und es nach aussen hin leicht verwischt mit Silber. Die Lippen habe ich in einer typischen 20iger-Jahre-Farbe gewählt, genannt Büffelblut-rot. Es ist ein starkes Dunkelrot mit einem Braunstich. Da die Wangen nicht im Mittelpunkt stehen, habe ich sie schlicht gehalten und nur leicht betont. Voilà, fertig ist dein glamouröses Make-up für einen spektakulären Silvesterabend!

A little different Christmas Make-up

We all know classical Christmas make-ups, that's why I've chosen to create a little different make-up for this year. Like you know I love eyebrows, so I decided to paint them golden for the holidays. The rest of the make-up is fairly light with golden-rose cheeks and lips. I think the whole look has a touch of an angel, so it's perfect for Christmas.

Da wir alle die klassischen Weihnachts Make-Ups kennen, habe ich mich entschieden für dieses Jahr etwas spezielles zu kreieren. Wie ihr wisst, stehe ich total auf Augenbrauen, deswegen habe ich sie goldig geschminkt für den Festtags-Look. Den Rest des Make-Ups habe ich feenhaft leicht gehalten mit goldig-rosigen Wangen und Lippen. Ich finde das ganze hat ein bisschen etwas engelhaftes, weshalb es perfekt zu Weihnachten passt.

My favorites Christmas-Beauty-Presents

Christmas is almost here and like every year there are a lot of lovely limited-editions in the beauty corners. I've picked out a few of my favorites  for you. May be they inspire you for a last-minute present or even for a present to yourself😊

Pilot for a 70ies series

Together with a friend of mine I did hair & make-up for this french pilot-episode which plays in the 70ies. It was really funny at the film set, but also pretty stressful from time to time.
The story is about two talkmasters which solve the problems of their spectators with doing a corresponding music- and dance-performance. I'm wondering if the french audience is gonna like it...☺


Zusammen mit einer Freundin habe ich an dieser Pilot-Episode für eine französische Serie die in den 70ern spielt Hair & Make-Up gemacht. Es ging sehr lustig zu und her am Set aber von Zeit zu Zeit war es auch ganz schön stressig.
In der Serie geht es darum, dass zwei Talkmasterinnen die Probleme ihrer Zuschauer durch entsprechende Musik- und Tanzperformences lösen. Mal schauen ob es dem französischen Publikum gefallen wird...☺

Shooting at Versailles

It was a really nice shooting on a beautiful sunny day in Versailles. I just felt a little sorry for the model, because it was freezing cold and she was almost an icecube at the end. But she did a great job though. Here some impressions:

Es war ein wirklich nettes Shooting an einem wunderbar sonnigen Tag in Versailles. Nur das Model tat mir etwas leid, da es wirklich saukalt war und sie am Ende fast zu einem Eisklotz gefroren war. Aber sie machte es toll. Hier ein paar Schnappschüsse:

Winter is here, don't let your skin notice it!

Winter is here and with him the danger of getting dry and rough skin. Because of the never-ending change of warm heated air inside and the freezing wind outside our skin gets stressed and runs dry. That's why I listed you some useful tips to prevent that this happens to your skin:


Der Winter ist da und mit ihm leider auch die Gefahr auf trockene, raue Haut. Durch den ständigen Wechsel der warmen Heizungsluft und der eisigen Kälte wird unsere Haut strapaziert und neigt zum austrocknen. Deshalb habe ich euch einige Tipps zusammengestellt, um dies möglichst zu verhindern:

-The most important thing is the daily skin-treatement. The light and moisturizing cream which was ideal in summer gives now not enough care for our skin. It needs a richer one to prevent from drying and protects from the warm-cold changing. If your skin is very dry, you can also use a face oil.


- Das wichtigste ist die tägliche Gesichtspflege. Die Bedürfnisse der Haut sind mit der leichten Feuchtigkeitscrème welche im Sommer perfekt war nicht mehr gedeckt. Eine reichhaltigere Crème muss her. Für sehr trockene Haut kann auch gut ein Gesichtsöl genommen werden.

-Also for removing your make-up you have to pay attention. Don't rub to strong, it makes your skin even more stressed, remove it gentle. You can also use products which nurse the skin, like cleansing butter or -oil.


- Auch beim abschminken ist mehr Vorsicht geboten. Vor allem ist grobes Rubbeln zu vermeiden, da dies die sowieso schon gereizte Haut nur noch mehr strapaziert. Auch kann man beim Abschminken zu pflegenden Produkten greifen wie Abschminkbutter oder -öl.

- Unfortunately also our lips are getting crisped and fissured. The best thing to do against it is, to give them an overnight-treatement. You put on a thick layer of your lip balm and let it treat over night.


- Leider sind auch unsere Lippen oft spröde und rissig. Das beste Mittel dagegen ist, vor dem Schlafengehen den Lippen eine kleine Pflegepackung über Nacht zu geben. Hierzu einfach eine dicke Schicht Lippenpflege auftragen und über Nacht wirken lassen.

- Our skin is more sensitive than usual, so you should not wear harsh material like itchy scarfs. Also your body-lotion can get richer.


- Da die Haut empfindlicher ist als sonst, sollten wir darauf achten, keine allzu rauen Materialien wie kratzende Schals anzuziehen. Auch die Bodylotion kann nun etwas reichhaltiger sein.

"Baume corps - Oil Therapie" Biotherm

-If your skin still rebels, this little S.O.S.-mask will help for sure: put on a thick layer of a hydrating and calming cream. On this you lay a thin gauze and than you apply with a brush an other layer of the hydrating cream. To finish it you hydrate this all with a thermal-water-spray. Let it on for 20 minutes and be amazed of the result 😊



- Sollte die Haut immernoch nicht im Lot sein, Hilft diese S.O.S.-Maske garantiert: eine dicke Schicht beruhigende Feuchtigkeitscrème autragen, dann eine dünne Gaze darüberlegen. Mit einem Pinsel nochmals eine Schicht Auftragen und das Ganze mit einem Thermalwasserspray befeuchten. 20 Miuten einwirken lassen und das Ergebnis bewundern😊

Tested: YSL Vernis à Lèvres

Because I wondered, if there can really still be innovations in the lipgloss sector, I tested the new vernis à lèvres from YSL. It should give a nail-polish-effect and it should have the opacity of a lipstick as well as the shine of a lipgloss.
Honestly I have to say, that I'm a little disappointed. I didn't really like it. Yes, it is a little more intense in the colour than usual lip glosses but nothing extraordinary. And I found that the application wasn't really proper. If I want shiny and strong colored lips, I prefer to put on a little lipgloss after my lipstick...


Da es mich wunder nahm, ob man in dem Lipgloss-Sektor wirklich noch Innovationen machen kann, habe ich den neuen vernis à lèvres von YSL getestet. Er soll einen Nagellack-Effekt geben und die Funktion eines deckenden Lippenstifts sowie den Glanz eines Lipglosses.
Ganz ehrlich muss ich sagen, es hat mich nicht umgehauen. Er ist zwar etwas deckender als normale Lipglosses, aber nicht ausserordentlich. Zudem finde ich er verteilt sich nicht sehr schön ebenmässig auf den Lippen.  Da bevorzuge ich, wenn ich glänzende starke Lippen möchte, nach dem Lippenstift rasch noch etwas Gloss aufzutragen...


Par ce que ça m'intéressait si on peut toujours faire des innovations concernant les lipgloss, j'ai testé le nouveau vernis à lèvres de YSL. Il devrait donner un effet vernis avec une couvrence d'un rouge à lèvres et la brillance d'un gloss.
Honnêtement je suis un peu déçue. Il ne m'a pas vraiment plu. C'est vrai qu'il est un petit peu plus pigmenté qu'un gloss normal, mais pas beaucoup. En plus je trouve qu'il ne s'étale pas bien sur les lèvres. Si je veux avoir des lèvres fortes et brillantes, je préfère mettre un peu de gloss après le rouge à lèvres...

Autumn Make-up

For this beautiful autumn-look I've chosen a really popular colour for this fall. It's a deep red mixed with brown. I'm totally addicted to this color, I think it's very feminine and together with the brown smokey-eyes it gives a irresistible mysterious look. For the extra glamorous touch I added fake lashes. I hope you like the look as much as I do!

Für diesen herbstlichen Look habe ich eine Farbe genommen, welche in dieser Saison sehr angesagt ist. Ein sattes Dunkelrot gemischt mit Braun. Ich bin total verrückt nach dieser Farbe, sie ist wunderbar feminin und ich finde zusammen mit den braunen Smokey-Eyes gibt es einen unwiderstehlichen mysteriösen Look. Für den extra Touch Glamour habe ich noch falsche Wimpern hinzugefügt. Ich hoffe euch gefällt dieses Make-Up genauso gut wie mir!

Pour ce look magnifique d'automne j'ai choisi une couleur pour les lèvres qui est très en tendance cette saison. C'est un rouge fort et foncé, mélangé avec du brun. J'adore cette couleur, elle est très féminine et je trouve que avec les smokey-eyes en brun ça donne un look irrésistible et mystérieux. Pour le "touch-extra-glamour" j'ai rajouté des faux cils. J'espère que vous aimez le maquillage autant que moi!

How to fix lipstick errors

Just for a moment you don't pay enough attention or you get pushed and your lipstick slips out of control and ruins your pretty make-up. If you swipe it away with a cotton swab you smear it or you even take off your foundation and there will be spots.

When it happens to you next time, no panic, all you need is a foundation and a flat brush.

Man ist nur kurz unachtsam, oder wird geschupst und schon ist es passiert, der Lippenstift ist ausser Kontrolle geraten und unser schönes Make-Up ruiniert. Wenn wir ihn einfach mit einem Wattestäbchen wegwischen, wird er verschmiert oder das Make-Up wird gleich mit weggewischt und es entstehen Flecken.

Wenn euch dies das nächste Mal passiert, keine Panik, alles was ihr braucht sind Foundation und ein flacher Pinsel.

Take a bit of foundation on your brush, not too much.

Nehmt etwas Make-Up auf den Pinsel, nicht zu viel.

Then swipe with small and careful gestures the over boarded lipstick from the outside towards the inside. Do this until you have your perfect contours. Make sure that you clean the brush from time to time on the back of your hand and retake a bit of foundation if necessary.

Dann wischt ihr von aussen gegen innen den überflüssigen Lippenstift in kleinen Bewegungen weg, bis die Lippenkonturen erreicht sind. Zwischendurch den Pinsel immer wieder am Handrücken reinigen und wenn nötig etwas mehr Make-Up nehmen.

And your lips look stunning again 😃
